FoodLoft food court Bangkok: Your one stop food court for Bangkok's top restaurants

When running out ideas on where to eat, food courts in shopping malls are among the choices for Bangkok people.  Food courts (food parks or food centers) accommodate numerous food vendors far enough to meet eaters' preference, it's self-serviced (through a coupon or card system,) easy, and cheap.  Popular food courts are mostly in shopping places like MBK Center, Siam Paragon, Emporium, Suanlum Night Bazaar.

However, if you're looking for one of a kind food court, I'd recommend FoodLoft.  It's quite pricey but it has revolutionized the industry.  Since the opening of FoodLoft in Central department store Chidlom, food courts were no longer known as cheap.  On the contrary, a few food courts can be expensive similar to eating in any classy restaurants.  FoodLoft has opened a new food court era in Thailand.

To date, FoodLoft can be seen in many Central department stores (e.g. Central World Plaza, Central Plaza Lardprao, known as Food Cellar.)  It is has become a role model for others to follow.  All FoodLoft accommodate many well known classy restaurants in Bangkok all in a single place.  Along with Thai cuisines, there are Japanese, Indian, Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc.

If you want to try numerous famous food vendors in a single place, consider one of those classy food courts in the shopping malls.  Or FoodLoft the pioneer of the classy food courts.

Review
FoodLoft is a retro self-serviced food court accommodating the top restaurants in Bangkok like Hou yuu (Chinese,) Dao Vien (Vietnamese,) Gianni (Italian,) The Old Malaya (Singaporean and Malaysian,) etc.  They're all here in one place unlike any food courts in Bangkok.  FoodLoft is also a good change for an informal business reception.

Despite numerous leading restaurants in FoodLoft, most menus are mainly basic and easy to prepare.  Therefore, you may not be eating the best dishes provided.  Also, do not expect that you're packed with every top restaurant; there are still many that are not here.  FoodLoft is not cheap no difference than eating in a classy restaurant serviced by waiters.

FoodLoft food court is ideal for
-Short time travelers wishing to eat in Bangkok's leading restaurants 5/5
-Eaters who are lazy to visit Bangkok's leading restaurants 5/5
-Businessmen 3/5

FoodLoft, the original, is on the 7th floor of Central department store Chidlom. food-court-bangkok
Since FoodLoft revolutionized the industry, many other major shopping malls duplicate this idea making food courts available elsewhere widely.   food court, central-world-plaza, bangkok
