Soi
Langsuan: The trendy international food road
Soi Langsuan is a cozy food road lined up
with many classy restaurants.
An area where Bangkok people come
for something different from their usual
Thai food (though Thai food is also
available.) And where
expatriates come for international
dishes.
Soi Langsuan stretches between
Central department store Chidlom to
Lumpini park. For over 2
decades, it has long been known for

its name from The Whole Earth
restaurant during the 80's when VCRs were
still rare and very expensive.
The Whole Earth was a popular place
to watch
imported VDOs at that time.
Since then, many restaurants
mushroomed along the road carrying Thai, Japanese,
Korean, Vietnamese, and western
dishes. Some of the big names
here are Pan Pan (Italian,) Ad Makers
(live music,) Ngwan Lee (seafood,)
etc. Soi Langsuan
interconnects with Soi Tonson by 7 alleys namely
Soi Langsuan 1 to 7. Soi Tonson,
a less crowded food road, has 2 reputable Italian
restaurants in Bangkok namely, Paesano and
Gianni.
With many famous restaurants in this
area, Soi Langsuan is always the top
choices for classy international
dishes among Bangkok
residents.
Restaurant price : Fair-Pricey
Note: Walking alone in this area at
night is not recommended.
