Thailand Cultural
Center: Thai and
international classical live
performances
Thailand
Cultural
Center
is
a
600+million
Baht building officially
opened
in
1987. During the first few years, it
was
jammed
with
live
performances,
exhibitions,
and
trade
fairs. Many world renown artists
have been here before mainly from
Japan like Sadao Watanabe, Kitaro,
etc. Later, with more newcomers
in
the
arena (i.e.
Queen
Sirikit
National
Convention Center,
Siam
Paragon's Royal Paragon
Hall, Central
World Plaza's Bangkok Convention
Center) the cultural center
targets more on Thai and
international classical
performances. Presently,
Thailand Cultural Center is among a few
venues to host classical live
performances such
as
opera,
ballet,
music,
etc.
